Before you create
Terms & Conditions
Updated 16 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-16.1
These terms explain how you may use Papertots to create activity books and reading storybooks, preview the library and download books. Read them before accepting in the Generate popup. If you do not agree, do not continue with generation.
1. An adult chooses and reviews
The service is intended for parents, guardians and adult educators. You must be legally able to agree to these terms and authorise the purchase. Children should use the books with suitable adult guidance, particularly for cutting, making or practical activities.
2. Copyrighted characters and other people's work
Do not request the creation or reproduction of copyrighted characters belonging to someone else unless you own the necessary rights or have the rights holder's permission. This includes recognisable characters from cartoons, films, television, books, comics and games, and their distinctive artwork, costumes or story settings.
Use your own original characters and themes. Do not copy another person's illustrations, stories, logos or branding, or ask for a disguised copy by changing a character's name. A personal or educational purpose does not, by itself, establish permission under this service's rules.
You are responsible for having the rights needed for your requests, including generation and inclusion in the shared library. Papertots does not grant licences to third-party characters or guarantee that AI output is free of third-party rights. Review the result and do not use or share output that infringes another person's rights. Requests or books that violate these rules may be declined or removed.
These are service-use rules, not a claim that every character, name or idea is copyright-protected in every country. For general background, see WIPO's copyright guidance (opens in a new tab).
3. Appropriate requests and AI-generated content
Keep requests suitable for children. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful content, or material that violates someone's privacy.
Books use AI-generated text and artwork alongside generated puzzles. Results may contain mistakes, inconsistencies or unexpected similarities to other works. An adult should review every book for accuracy, age suitability and safety before giving it to a child. Learning outcomes, originality and exclusive copyright in AI-generated material are not guaranteed.
4. Shared library and personal information
Every generated book is automatically added to Explore. Other visitors can preview its first three pages, and customers with an eligible pass can select and download the complete book. It is not a private book store.
By generating, you authorise Papertots to process your supplied material, create and store the book, and make its preview and full PDF available through this library. Do not enter a child's full name, address, school name, contact details or other sensitive information. The story-name field is optional; a fictional name is a safer choice.
Your prompts are processed by the configured AI providers. Payment is processed through Razorpay. This terms page is not a substitute for a complete privacy notice.
5. Prices, generation and download passes
- The generation price is shown below. No GST is charged. A successful generation includes your generated book and nine other library choices: ten distinct books in total.
- Price
- ₹25.00
- Total payable
- ₹25.00
- The separate Download pass price is shown below. No GST is charged. It allows ten distinct library choices and does not include generation.
- Price
- ₹20.00
- Total payable
- ₹20.00
- Review the final amount shown at checkout before authorising payment. Local test buttons are clearly marked and are not paid purchases.
- The ten-book allowance is cumulative per pass across visits and both book types. A new selection uses a slot when the download is authorised; unchecking it later does not restore that slot. Re-downloading an included book uses no additional slot.
- A new purchase creates a separate pass; it does not reset an existing pass. An older pass keeps access to books already included, even if its earlier allowance exceeded ten.
If payment has been captured but generation or delivery fails, keep the order receipt and do not immediately pay again. Check the saved library/pass or use the available verification retry. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or remedies that apply by law.
6. Guest access and downloading
Your pass is remembered through a browser cookie and server-side purchase records, without a login. Clearing cookies, using another browser or device, or allowing the session to expire can lose access. Account-free recovery is not currently available. Keep your purchase receipt and downloaded files.
Do not bypass payment, pass limits or preview restrictions, interfere with the service, or use another customer's pass. A download does not grant rights to third-party material or a guarantee of exclusive ownership.
7. Your agreement
Tick the unchecked agreement box in the Generate popup to accept this version before starting a new activity book or reading storybook, including a local test. For new paid generation orders, the accepted version and a server-generated acceptance time are saved with the order. Acceptance does not itself make a payment.
Opening this page does not accept the terms. Return to the original builder tab to continue; your selections remain there.
